Privacy Policy

CivicAid Copilot provides general Australian support navigation. It is built to keep use lightweight, session-based and privacy-aware.

Short version

Do not enter information you would not be comfortable using in a browser session. Name, age, citizenship status and address are sensitive. The app uses those details only to prepare the session plan you ask for. It does not create a permanent user profile.

Session-based use

CivicAid Copilot does not currently include user accounts. Your use is treated as anonymous session activity. The app may process the words you type, browser session state and basic technical metadata needed to run the app, but it is not tied to a named account.

What information the app handles

CivicAid Copilot may handle:

  • the situation details you type into the prompt, guided form or workspace;
  • session-only plan data, such as triage notes, action-kit drafts and workspace messages;
  • basic browser metadata, such as user agent, when needed to run or debug the app;
  • request content when the server-side response route is available.

The app is designed for support navigation, not identity checks. Avoid entering full addresses, identity numbers, account numbers, passwords, medical records, legal documents or other details that are not needed for a safe first-step plan.

Sensitive details

Name, age, citizenship status and address are treated as sensitive. CivicAid Copilot should not store those details beyond session state. It may use broad location context to suggest safer next steps, but it does not claim that any service is available to you or that you are eligible.

Session storage

The current version stores working data in your browser session so the next screen can show your plan. That data is not intended as long-term storage. You can clear it by closing the session, clearing site data in your browser or using another browser profile.

Assisted response generation

When a response provider is configured, prompts are sent from the server side to create triage summaries, action-kit drafts, safety checks and workspace replies. If the provider is unavailable or the route cannot respond safely, deterministic fallback content is used instead.

Guidance only

CivicAid Copilot provides general information and navigation support only. It is not medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, migration advice, eligibility advice or crisis counselling. For urgent danger in Australia, call 000.

The Terms and Conditions explain the limits of the app, including the guidance-only boundary and user responsibilities.
