These terms explain how to use CivicAid Copilot safely. Treat its output as a starting point to check, not a final answer.

Guidance only

CivicAid Copilot provides general navigation support only. It is not medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, migration advice, eligibility advice, professional counselling or emergency support. You should check important decisions with official services or qualified professionals.

Emergencies and crisis support

If someone is in immediate danger in Australia, call 000. CivicAid Copilot cannot monitor your safety, dispatch emergency help or replace specialist crisis services.

What the app can do

CivicAid Copilot can help you draft:

  • plain-English summaries of stressful support situations;
  • first-step action kits, document checklists and call scripts;
  • questions to ask an official service, support worker or qualified professional;
  • safer search prompts and user-controlled next steps.

The app does not submit forms, make bookings, apply for benefits, contact services on your behalf or promise that a service is suitable, available or approved for you.

Response limits and fallbacks

Some responses may be generated through a server-side response provider. Generated content can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. When the provider is unavailable, the app uses deterministic fallback content. In either case, you are responsible for checking the output before relying on it.

Session use

CivicAid Copilot does not currently include user accounts. Usage is treated as anonymous session activity and is not tied to a named account.

Name, age, citizenship status and address are sensitive. Do not enter more detail than the app needs for a safe first-step plan.

Your responsibilities

By using CivicAid Copilot, you agree to:

  • use the app for general guidance and drafting only;
  • check urgent, legal, medical, financial, migration or eligibility questions with the right service;
  • avoid entering passwords, account numbers, identity numbers or unnecessary sensitive details;
  • review any script, checklist, resume text or plan before using it with another person or service.

No service-directory claims

CivicAid Copilot may point you toward broad categories of support or official starting points. It does not verify live service availability, queue times, eligibility, opening hours or referral pathways unless that is clearly stated and backed by an official source.
